TEDxIHECS is a local not-for-profit event organised by six ninjas (current and former alumni at IHECS) committed to stimulating creativity and spreading local voices with universal reach. From Media to Culture and Society, Science to Performing Arts, Sports to Magic and Music to Education, this first edition will focus on "local voices" with speakers, shakers and above all storytellers essentially based in Belgium and nearby. Men and women with gutsy ideas and experiences worth spreading determined to get us out of our comfort zone and display limitless tenacity towards freshening our perspectives and contributing to a more respectful, peaceful and prosperous living. This first edition of TEDxIHECS will be held in English. Talks will be entirely filmed and later uploaded online. Date of event: Saturday 9 March 2013
