What is TEDx?In the spirit of "ideas worth spreading," TED created TEDx, a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connections. 2014 was TEDx's fifth year and it was a year of milestones! By 2014 over 10,000 events had taken place in over 166 countries and the 50,000th talk went online.
