In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. TEDxLuanda is a nonprofit conference which will bring together some thinkers of knowledge areas as diverse as art and technology, science and business, to talk about their best ideas in lectures lasting 5 to 15 minutes. The theme of this inaugural event will be: We, Tomorrow.The first TEDxLuanda event will be held in May 24th, 2012 and is expected to reach 1,000 or more people locally and around the globe."We, Tomorrow"We are here for a fact, but where we are going is the challenge ahead, seeking for answers to address issues are the main challenge that young people are confronted with. The future is uncertain, the present is confused and the past seems to have been forgotten.Is there any way that we can do something without compromising tomorrow's generation? What can we do to build smarter and healthier communities? How can we set the agenda for future communities? Answering these questions will make a path to unlock the future and build better and inspiring communities.Join us, bring your ideas and stories to share with a wide audience, this way we will open new doors for a better future.
