TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." The program is designed to give communities, organizations, and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level. At TEDx events, a series of live presenters spark deep conversation and connections by sharing their "Ideas Worth Spreading" and TEDTalk Videos. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.The date for our first event, UNEARTH, is set for Sunday, March 24, 2019. We are extremely excited to showcase underrepresented and intersectional voices in our community – or, in other words, "UNEARTH" these voices. We aim to provide a larger platform for folks to speak and share their stories, whether it be in academia, institutions, entrepreneurship, or otherwise. Stay tuned for more info!
