TEDxQMUL is the official licensed TEDx event, a unique annual conference at Queen Mary University of London. It launched in June 2015 with seven student speakers and plans to get more involved in sharing ideas at QM, Mile End and London. Learn about our people and how their stories invoke change.In the spirit of 'ideas worth spreading', TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxQMUL, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxQMUL event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
