TEDxSingaporeManagementUniversity was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." The program is designed to give communities, organisations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.The SMU community serves as a safe space for budding youths to navigate complexities of life—pursuing aspirations while forging life-long friendships with individuals from all walks of life, sharing stories, ideas and inspiration. We hence serve to draw on the vividness of the SMU community and provide a platform for individuals to transform thoughts into words, words into actions, sparking change within and beyond the community. In this year's edition, TEDxSingaporeManagementUniversity 2022: UN:Charted brings together individuals who forged their own paths against all odds in multitudes of fields, inspiring the collective community to look above and beyond.
