The practice, founded by Onur Teke, is based on the solid experience of its founder, gained at internationally recognized architectural offices like Eisenman Architects at New York and as Associate Partner at Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW) for more than 14 years. During his time at RPBW Onur Teke was responsible for a variety of projects designed in different scales, managing complex and multi-disciplinary working groups processes such as Kimbell Art Museum, Whitney Museum,Sarajevo Art Museum, Gardner Museum, Hospice and various residential towers. From 2007 until its completion in 2013 Onur led the design team for the Kimbell Art Museum in USA.In 2016 the practice is given the XV National Architecture Award for their build project T-House and nominated for Aga Khan Award for Architecture. And in 2016 Onur Teke has been nominated by the European Architecture Award as the most important and emerging European Young Architect under 40.The strong experience, supported by a dynamic team of architects from various countries, make TEKE ARCHITECTS OFFICE a solid reality in the field of design and architectural experimentation while providing a reliable and strict management of the entire process, from concept design to construction site.
