TekStyle'14, the first of its kind is a national level concursion of Research Scholars, Industries (core/none-core), Ministry of Textiles, Ministry of tourism, Fashion enthusiasts, students of Textile Science, Sister Concerns and Students of other Branch too will be sharing the same podium. The events have been designed in accordance to the vision and mission of Textile engineering society that aims at‘weaving people together' and will directly / indirectly help in the growth of our nation. We believe that the fest would provide a platform to know the needs and expectations between research community, students, industries and Ministry of Textiles and hence, would help in bridging the gap between these.With the events like Paper/Poster presentation, Panel Talk, Industrial case studies and other technical events we aim at getting maximum knowledge of our field. This would not only be good for the research community but also for Textile core/ non-core industries it would help in getting great business ideas. For Fashion community we have events like Panache and The Fashion Street that would allow them to showcase their creations in front of big corporates.Being associated with school students we ought to generate their interest in this field and would make them aware of different wonders that Textiles can do. We believe that collectively all these would help in providing a boost to Textiles in our country.
