Telegraph Brewing, an award-winning craft brewery located on downtown Santa Barbara's Salsipuedes Street, specializes in brewing uniquely American and Belgian-inspired beers using 100% domestic ingredients and as many local ingredients as possible. The brewery strives to capture in its beers the unique culinary and agricultural traditions of Santa Barbara and California's Central Coast. 2016 marks our 10th year in craft beer.As craft brewing in America has matured over the past decade, Telegraph has consistently been at the forefront of progression and quality. Our most notable trail blazing efforts have come from our early adoption of wild fermentation methods within our Obscura program. The Latin word ‘Obscura' means dark or shadowy, obscure, from unknown origins. Obscura is the surname given to each of Telegraph Brewing's barrel-aged and wild-fermented brewing projects. Some beers are recurring, some will never be seen again, all are distinctive. We are the proud recipients of several widely respected accolades, among them are 6 Great American Beer Festival metals and 2 World Beer Cup awards.
