Temitope Farms was founded by Mr James Olu Akinmolayan (1940 - 2005) and Mrs M.M.I. Akinmolayan. Registered as a business enterprise in 1995, the farm then was mainly for rearing of livestock – poultry (layers, broilers, cockerels, turkeys, etc) and vegetables. Other livestock kept by the side were guinea fowls, ducks, rabbits, snails, goats, etc. In 1996, Temitope Farms won the "Best Farmer of the Year" Award from Union bank of Nigeria Plc. Unfortunately, some months after the death of the founder, the farm went moribund.Currently, Temitope Farms is tooling up an innovative agribusiness primarily focused on commercial rabbit production, including the added services along the value chain.Our vision is to be the foremost innovative farm in Nigeria to specialize in the value chain of rabbit production.
