Machinery - Belo Horizonte, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil
In 1945, the 'Compagnia Tecnica Internazionale' was founded in Argentina. The founder of what became Techint, out of which Tenova emerged, went by the name of Agostino Rocca. He was an innovative engineer, manager and entrepreneur, and a key force behind the development of the Italian steel industry in the 1930s. His drive to innovate and his entrepreneurial spirit saw the company grow and expand both geographically and in terms of industries, in subsequent years. Indeed, innovation and entrepreneurship still drives the company's success to this day. Not only that, but the company remains a family business – incorporating the traditional family values of respect, loyalty and trust.
