Test Drive Buddy is a platform for used-car buyers to request an on-demand auto inspector to accompany them for a test drive, conduct an on-site pre-purchase inspection, and provide them with an estimate on repairs needed—educating and empowering the buyer to reject a lemon, negotiate a better deal, or buy a reliable car with confidence.Using technology to keep our overhead low allows us to both provide the service at a price anyone can afford and pay our inspectors higher rates than they would receive working in an auto repair shop. Our long-term vision is to provide an automated, mobile one-stop shop for “DIY” used-car buyers. The mobile app will take them the whole way through the most difficult, time-consuming, and expensive parts of buying a car, among which may include the following: customer-car matching, mobile inspection, VIN history report, financing/money transfer, insurance, and automated online title transfer and paperwork.
