Tetra Pak's powder technology is head quartered in Heerenveen, The Netherlands. This is the knowledge centre for the development, engineering, and installation of our powder solutions. Here the core building blocks of our portfolio, such as evaporators and spray dryers, are continually refined based on experience and importantly insight from the ever-changing needs of our customers. For example, the growing need to incorporate sustainable energy sources or CIP optimisation.Our designs and engineering have benefited from a depth of experience stemming from the acquisition of Scheffers and Stork technologies who first started designing E&D equipment in the mid 1900's. Our expertise extends beyond the stainless steel. A significant focus has been placed on computational fluid dynamics and micro-biology and our Drying Test Centre (DTC) also in The Netherlands, is where we validate the theory.Our customer experience and overall value proposition is strengthened by our line solution focus. The same level of due diligence is performed on standalone equipment versus complete End to End line solutions.Our solutions secure food safety and hygiene standards and aim to minimize the technical cost of ownership (TCO).
