College/University - College Station, TX, US
The Texas A&M Cybersecurity Center was founded in Fall of 2015 as a joint center associated with both Texas A&M University and Texas Engineering Experiment Station, a state agency that is part of the TAMU System. The Center's vision is to advance collective cybersecurity knowledge, capabilities, and practices through ground-breaking research, novel and innovative cybersecurity education, and mutually beneficial academic governmental and commercial partnerships. Much like the rest of the nation, Texas has a huge shortfall in available personnel to meet this need, underscoring the continued and growing need to educate cybersecurity leaders to fill these critically important roles. The Texas A&M Cybersecurity Center is at the forefront of becoming the leader in cybersecurity education and research.
