Nonprofit Organization Management - College Station, Texas, United States
The Interfraternity Council has recently expanded and now governs 17 chapters with a collective membership of almost seventeen-hundred Aggies, making us one of the largest and most diverse communities at Texas A&M. We have seen tremendous growth over the last few years since joining the SEC, enabling us to expand our impact on campus while continually spreading the Aggie Spirit. Our quality of membership has been the only thing to outgrow this spike in numbers. The IFC-wide grade point average is consistently above the all University average. Our members are enrolled in every available major at A&M and receive among the most selective internships and job opportunities before and after graduation. Our community is deeply invested in philanthropy locally and nationally. Every year thousands of dollars are raised by each chapter for charity. The skills gained from the fraternity experience have helped our members earn many leadership roles around campus and within many other student organizations. In short, our members are academically successful, desirable candidates for post graduate employment, and dedicated to being active in our community. Our organizations strive to exemplify the core values that have long characterized our internationally renowned University. Through our Excellence, Integrity, Leadership, Loyalty, Respect and Selfless Service, our members help to advance the reputation of the University of which we have the privilege of attending.
