Public Safety - Austin, TX, US
TCiNN has over 600 partners across Texas working towards equitable access and connection to nature for children. Research shows children who spend time outside are healthier, happier, and smarter. TCiNN has seven focus areas: equity, leadership, health, access, community, education and marketing. TCiNN serves an important role in the non-profit landscape of Texas, working as a collaborative model and focusing on helping partner organizations do great work. We are a place where health care professionals, teachers, conservationists, and community and business leaders convene to work together to accomplish our mission. TCiN has eight regional collaboratives including Caprock, North Texas, Austin, San Antonio, Pineywoods, Houston, Coastal Bend and the Rio Grande. Regional Leaders help to foster partnerships across the area to spur on the work of encouraging children and families, as well as educators, to spend time in nature. Major initiatives for TCiN include green school yards, the TCiN Stories project, OLE! Texas, and more.
