Texas Soaring Association Details
Founded in 1947, Texas Soaring Association promotes the sport of soaring and a love of aviation in the Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas area. We currently have more than 150 members, making us one of the largest glider clubs in the U.S. We are a chapter of the Soaring Society of America.The club owns a number of two-place and single-place gliders, also known as sailplanes. These include:- Three ASK-21 two-place gliders- One Duo Discus two-place glider- Three PW-5 single-place gliders- Two 1-26 single-place gliders- Three Piper Pawnee tow planesTexas Soaring Association is a 501c3 non profit organization.
