We are a team of developers, designers, investors and researchers, based in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We look forward to foster Tezos project growth in our country, by spreading this technology in partnership with educational entities, bringing innovative knowledge and resources to Brazil.Tezos is a third generation blockchain: a distributed, digital, cryptographic ledger, capable of self-amending itself, avoiding hard-forks. Tezos was designed with the purpose of avoiding governance problems like in Bitcoin and security flaws like in Ethereum, its main predecessors. Tezos allows "smart contracts" functionality, that are developed using Liquidity/Michelson programming language, and makes easier the use of "formal verification" (technology applied in aero space and health industry - areas where any error may cost lives).
