The 2Gethers Foundation is a dual state (Illinois & Texas) nonprofit organization. Our mission is dedicated to empowering first-generation students to attain a college degree and equipping them with the necessary tools, resources, and opportunities to achieve academic and life excellence. Our specific purpose is to address barriers that first-generation students face so that they can successfully persist through college and attain a college degree. We provide a number of services to facilitate the success of first-generation scholars and their families, such as:- Scholarship program- Mentoring & Leadership Development Program for high school and college students- Care packages to college students- Workshops/Seminars for scholars and parents
