One year after the launch of The Independent Music Centre the Australian Elizabethan Theatre Trust (Trust) is proud to announce a pilot chamber music training program, ‘The Academy of Chamber Music Performance' under the artistic direction of Kirsten Williams. The Trust envisions the creation of a specialised chamber music program at The Independent Music Centre, which includes public performances, master classes, workshops, and training for musicians wishing to perform chamber music.Kirsten Williams has been appointed the Artistic Director to facilitate, guide and mentor musicians studying at secondary school and tertiary education levels as well as those who are passionate about growing their skills within Chamber Music.The Academy of Chamber Music Performance will commence the pilot program from Tuesday 30 April 2013. The Academy will operate in a 10-week term lining up with the standard school terms in NSW.
