The Activated People Inc. is a Black-owned and operated independent activist organization and media platform dedicated to promoting racial and gender equity. The Activated People was formed for the purpose of advocating for legislation, regulations, and government programs to improve racial and gender equity. This corporation acknowledges that many issues intersect with and or arise as products of racial and gender inequity. As appropriate, this corporation will address other issues in our work to further our core goal of advancing racial and gender equity. TAP's media differentiates itself from other platforms in that we do not discuss topics through the traditional political lens, but solely through the lens of activists and the people affected by the issues. TAP will also serve as a hub for grassroots activists. In addition to the articles, TAP will also offer opportunities for activists to form groups to network with others who are working on similar issues, and learn about upcoming events around the country.
