The Alliance for Cultural and Economic Exchange, Inc. is a 501(c)3 founded in 2003 and based in Somerville, Massachusetts. We are dedicated to promoting a culturally diverse, compassionate world. In order to foster mutually beneficial global cultural and economic exchange, we promote partnerships among developed and developing communities. We have begun our work in Ecuador with women entrepreneurs and rainforest families. Specific projects we promote and fund include scholarships for secondary school children and young leaders. Market development projects we support include world class dark chocolate, handicrafts, and community-based tourism which provides in-depth experiences of local customs and healing ceremonies.
