We Cannot Expect Amazing Places To Maintain Themselves While The World Fights Through The COVID-19 Pandemic.Our present goal is to conserve amazing places, so they are still there once the COVID-19 economic fallout passes. Sometimes, this means that we need to invest in the people and organizations who maintain these invaluable resources and who will be called upon to provide services and support when the rest of us can visit once again. Other times, we uncover genuinely cool spaces that we never knew existed and will work with various stakeholders to study and preserve these places. To do all that, we provide grants to people, organizations and communities globally who have been economically devastated by COVID-19 travel bans. With an eye toward preserving priceless fishing destinations and securing a future for the people who live and work in those places, we are currently seeking out prospective grantees.
