The American Legacy Project is a primary facilitator for America's Veterans and their families to record and preserve their personal histories and communicate their valuable life lessons to their posterity and the American public. Our volunteers connect with Veterans, conduct comprehensive interviews, and submit their transcriptions as well as any available supporting documents (portraits, unit photos, etc.) to the project.After submission, The American Legacy Project develops two products:1) A tasteful, hard copy, "coffee table book" keepsake for the Service Member.2) A curated digital post for display on the site's Legacy Listing and social media pages.Each legacy celebrates the human spirit within us all. We hope that each story will allow the reader to better understand the diverse Military community and learn from their unique experience, regardless of the reader's position in life.
