Angry History, owned and operated by journalist/producers Owen Moogan and Dean Karayanis, produced the popular history and popular culture podcast of the same name. Born at a table in McSorley's Old Ale House, Angry History aimed for the kind of conversation the listener might have with a couple of pals, Moogan and Karayanis, over a handful of beers. Firmly believing in a nexus of interest between History and Science Fiction, the show would as likely referenced "Star Trek" as it would Shelby Foote to make a point. The show ceased production in March of 2015.
