Established in 1997.The Art of Control recently launched at 1177 Summer St Stamford CT! Formerly located at SUNY Purchase The Art of Control has a long and prestigious history in the Pilates Community. The Pilates program at SUNY Purchase was first started with Romana Kryzanowska at the helm in the mid 70's. Simona Cipriani, the Director of "The Art of Control" was taught by Romana Kryzanowska and taught alongside her for many years. Simona created the current Professional Pilates Mat Certification Program that is accredited by SUNY Purchase as well as the Full Apparatus Program issued by "The Art and Science of Contrology Pilates Certification Program"(ASCPCP).
