An NGO that works with underprivileged families and children across India. With operations in Chennai and Kochi, India, the Ashoka Tree currently works with over 1500 play schools in South India, impacting the lives of over 30,000 children. We aim to ensure that every child we work with has a book to read and a toy to play with.From story-telling and dance workshops to dental and health camps, we also work to ensuring every play school has basic infrastructure facilities from toilets to running water, lights and fans. We partner with corporates and individuals alike for donations and volunteer services. We believe every child has a right to play, a right to read, and certainly a right to smile.
