We also share a tragic history of mass shootings by marginalized people.OUR SOLUTIONDISRUPTS. The resilience of the aspen tree disrupts the way we normally think about trees. The aspen is the oldest living, largest organism in the world. The basis of our non-profit is borrowed from non-traditional CFSS strategies supporting family culture, strengths, preferences and community.IS UNIQUE. When compared to traditional trees, the unique difference of the aspen supports its strength, size and longevity. Our positively unique approach with youth and their families has resulted in documented life improvement.BEGINS WITH CONNECTION. A strong root system connects an aspen grove as one tree and nourishes a mutual, organic growth. A relationship with family, community, and nature provide youth with a shared way to hope and to thrive with new skills.GROWS STRONG WITH RELATIONSHIPS. Aspens grow in tight colonies, creating a collective resilience that fortifies against adversity for each individual tree.
