My husband Gabriel and I are proud to welcome you to The Attic, Artisan Bread and Café.We have been a part of Melbourne's cafe industry for nearly three decades, and watched it flourish into the world-class scene it has become today. Our own journey has mirrored Melbourne's – we started with a milk bar in the 1980s, owned take-away shops in the early 1990s and moved into the café and restaurant business in 1999. Since then, we have opened and run five cafes; with each move, we've tried to inject a little more of our culture, our values and our passions into the cuisine and setting.The Attic is the culmination of that journey. Our meals are hearty and gently challenging, with a strong Mediterranean influence and an emphasis on the finest local ingredients. Our café is warm and inviting, a sanctuary away from the bustling city, where you can savour your meal over good company and conversation, the way dining ought to be.Colette Safi
