The Attitude of Gratitude Project began as an experiment: If I consciously choose to keep an attitude of gratitude no matter what life may throw my way, will it really make a difference in the quality of my life? A few of us took this challenge; for six months we posted our gratitude publicly, in an online gratitude journal. And yes, we found that it did change our lives in wondrous ways that we could not have anticipated. We became more positive people. We complained less, and made a point each day of actively looking for the good that surrounds us. We began to see our world through grateful eyes, and the world we saw became more and more beautiful every day. When that original website crashed, those of us who had been posting our gratitude there found that we missed it. So one day I created a Facebook page so that we would have a place to post until I could put up a new site. Within 24 hours there were 150 people on that page. We were awed by that. Every day more people found us, and today over 17,000 people from all over the world share in this combined expression of gratitude. We have become a community, and we are growing. We invite you to join us. What are you grateful for today?
