In 2013, The August Tree started operating from a tiny living room in Queens, NY, as an online gift shop with a neighborhood walk-in store feel. We carefully curated lines of authentic, personal gifts for everyone. From accessories for men and women, toys that tug at heartstrings and household items that will be the center of any gathering, we thrived to make buying presents a lovely experience at an affordable price point. We called it, "Thoughtful gifting, simplified."To venture into the IRL world, we joined the Queens Night Market. It was the perfect opportunity for us to meet our neighbors and be part of a beautiful and diverse community that grew together and supported each other. Since then, we had partnered with Queens Museum, to become the Queens Museum Gift Shop. Curated with the celebration of Queens in mind, products feature the Queens urban lifestyle, art, history, diversity and of course, Queens Museum merchandise.
