The Avalon Media Group, which already consists of the fast-growing digital publication, The Avalon Daily and, for now, a wholly online radio station, is currently located in Victoria Island, Lagos State. Our core focus is to explain the news and socio-political issues using explainers and news analysis. We also place the people at the center of our reportage and not those in positions of authority. Our long-term goal is to merge our current internet broadcasting position with a future transition to terrestrial radio broadcasting for wider reach. Our social media analytics show that we reach an estimated number of 100,000 online visitors and readers, 10,000 online listeners and social media users across 5 countries including US and the UK.
