The famous Backyard Comedy Club returned to its home in Bethnal Green 3 years after the old club closed. It is London's newest purpose built comedy club and has been specifically designed with both audience and performers in mind. The venue room and stage are separate from the bar and restaurant which means that the acoustics are second to none – something well known comedian, Jason Manford commented on after performing there for the first time "it is an amazing space".The club will be very much a focal point for community events as well as showcasing big name and up and coming comedy talent. Over the coming months it will be forming relationships with local schools and charities as well as getting involved in important events such as Black History Month.It will hold regular Friday Charity Comedy nights from September – their unique offer is to share the ticket sales income 50:50 from every Friday night is Charity Comedy night comedy show until December.Daniel Dearlove, General Manager at Backyard Comedy Club which is based on 231 Cambridge Heath Rd, Bethnal Green E2, says, ‘Our Friday night is Charity Comedy night, offers Groups and Charities the opportunity to raise lots of money for their good cause – we present a great line up of very funny comedians, run a great evening and make it a real success.
