The projects in an innovative, multi-sensory venture - with the aim to communicate positive universal values through the power of the creative, visual and performing arts. The inclusion of young people and the community plays a major part in the project. The dominant art form used in communicating the values is Music. The project uses coloured balloons of the rainbow to act as symbols for the 7 values and in turn these symbolic balloons help to reinforce and communicate the 7 sentiments to our partipants and a wider audience."The student volunteers behind The Balloons Project at LIPA have created something fresh, innovative and exciting. They are successfully engaging young people in Liverpool and the wider community with positive values, including those underpinning the Olympic and Paralympic Games, through the power of music and the arts.
