The Barista League Details
Established in 2015 by Steven Moloney, The Barista League was created as a response to a need for more community-driven events in our industry. By considering the needs of our community and being conscious of the experience of everyone who attends, The Barista League has grown from a grassroots competition in the outskirts of a small Swedish city to one of the world's most exciting and engaging coffee competitions. Unlike traditional barista competitions, there are no entry fees or perplexing rulebooks – it's all about teams of two having fun and making coffee in three fast-paced multidisciplinary rounds. The event, which takes place in four world-wide cities over the course of the year intends to be relevant to everyone in our industry, from brand new baristas to world champions.
