Dear Marine Professionals, I have worked on practically all brands of yachts, and they all have one thing in common besides floating, That's their headliner panels after being pulled down a few times start losing their retention power, either it be with Dual-Lock or Velcro. I have been using them for over 15 years. I thought to myself, "There ought to be a better way". After months of investigation I found one that is grey in color and supper big and difficult to install. Finally I had a idea that would solve my problems, I thought I was going to make it and keep it to myself and only use it on my projects, but after the first production run, I discovered another clip system that you have to buy special tools and thread the plywood to install and the worst of it, when you pull them down they break. I showed my clip to a local marine upholstery shop and they really like them and I decided that it would be a better business plan to share my fastener system which I have called BeauClip. After launching my BeauClip LLC on January 1st 2010 we have been replacing clips from the other manufacturer and replacing "Hook and loop" type fastener with The BeauClip. Please take a look at the attached flyer, if you have any questions please call me at 954-934-2820. Or e-mail me at dominic@beauclip.com to request samples. Each clip will hold up to 15lbs of down force. They are fabricated out of a special blend of DuPont Nylon with a fire retardant. I recommend that they are installed no more then 15" apart around the perimeter and 2" from the edge, depending on the straightness of the material used and the lighting arrangement, you may have to add some in the middle.A center point will soon be available to use on panels that are already covered. Call me for information on replacing existing covered panels without having to remove the fabric.Orders will be shipped within 24 hours.Sincerely,Dominic BeaulieuNew Product Development
