Located on Maryland's Scenic Eastern Shore and founded in 1959, Benedictine is a non-sectarian service provider caring for individuals with special needs. It is one of the few year-round comprehensive integrated service providers in Maryland for children and adults ages 5 to 70+ with developmental and intellectual disabilities, and autism. Benedictine helps individuals from every county in Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic achieve their greatest potential and highest level of independence in a compassionate and caring environment. The Benedictine School offers a 12 month, co-ed day and residential school for students between the ages of 5 and 21. The Adult Services program offers community living, employment, and meaningful day services for ages 21 to 70+.
