The Black Girl Bond (TBGB) was established as a safe space for black girls, and our allies, to embrace boundless ambition, meaningful mobilization and intentional philanthropy as attainable, actionable, core values within our community. The "Bond", the collective conscience of black women across the country, has tipped critical elections, carried social justice movements and made an economic impact like no other minority group. Millennial and Gen Z women are poised to take the lead and advance these efforts even further. The brainchild of two friends who met freshman year at The Mecca (Howard University), TBGB is a place for us, by us, dedicated to leveraging our collective resources to advance the rights and opportunities of black girls today, tomorrow and in the future through measurable action.
