The Blue Box Creative Learning Centre is a non-profit, community-oriented intervention organization that offers Art, Play, Music, Movement, Dance & Drama therapies to some of the most economically & socially disadvantaged and marginalized children, adolescents & their families in Limerick City, Ireland.Since 1997 these services have been provided in Limerick schools, school completion programs, outreach projects & preschools. Referrals are received through school principals & teachers, social workers, families, private sources & the Irish Health Service Executive (HSE).Why Creative Arts Therapies? They are intuitively accessible to children and provide a language in which the child can assess and address their life experiences in a supportive, safe, non-judgmental, confidential and boundaried environment, guided by qualified, accredited Therapists.
