The Booker School is an independent, non-profit, non-denominational, Pre-K to Grade 8 school situated in beautiful Port Williams, Nova Scotia. Founded in 2012, The Booker School embraces the values of the International Baccalaureate and follow the IB PYP (Primary Years Programme) and MYP (Middle Years Programme) for students aged 3-14. The curriculum is inquiry-driven and concept-based, and is designed for the modern world. With a focus on the individual, The Booker School's goal is to support students in reaching their full potential. The academics include First Nations perspectives, science and technology, along with taking sustainable action.Class sizes are small with experienced, passionate educators. On five acres of beautiful landscape, students use the forest, the lawns, the gardens and the buildings as their learning spaces.
