Hello, I'm Beki and my passion is delivering fun and affordable brass lessons! I recently graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with a Bachelor of Music and have been privately teaching brass for the last few years. I currently hold 3 CRB/DBS checks as I regularly work with children and young adults. I can teach a wide variety of brass instruments including... cornet, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, baritone, tenor horn, french horn and tuba. Beginner piano and music theory lessons also available! I can either come to you or can teach from my house- whatever works best for you! Unfortunately I cannot provide instruments but I CAN provide sheet music materials, teach maintenance of brass instruments and check instruments over if you have them on approval. Playing and teaching experience.I have been playing for last 16 years and in that time have played in a variety of difference groups and stages. From the Bridgewater Hall to the Brucknerhaus in Linz!! I have extensive experience playing with both orchestras and brass bands including, the Halle orchestra professional experience scheme, RNCM brass band,symphony orchestra, wind orchestra, horn octet- to name a few! Whilst I was at school and university I was lucky enough to experience the fantastic youth music opportunities we have on offer in the UK including, the European Youth Brass Band, National Youth brass band of Great Britain and being runner up in the Bath Young musician of the year.I also have experience leading workshops, musical projects, music therapy, samba band and other music hub activities, KS2 music lessons and private brass, piano and theory lessons. Last year I co-led a 4 school musical collaboration with an animateur and taught group brass lessons to classes of 30 in Stockport. Prices start from £10 for 30 mins and will depend on ability and location. Block booking discounts are available and first lesson is HALF PRICE!
