The Browers Company is born to actively and sustainably promote beer culture and its dynamization, through several initiatives that will contribute to the knowledge and interest in beer and brewing, collaborating with different market stakeholders focusing in elevating quality, diversity and experience. We are a privately held company, owned by Super Bock Group, that being an active and leading player in the industry, felt it would be key to create a new business model and subsequently a new company to address a new market reality, and fully support the beer market diversification and growth. In order to fully accomplish this mission, The Browers Company will establish a brewery at an older electric power plant in Hub Criativo do Beato, focused in establishing Lisbon as a technology, innovation, entrepreneur and creative industries world reference, which will be born on the Tagus riverside in eastern side of the city, in a former army factory complex, recognized for its industrial and architectural value. The building, with close to 700m2, will be renovated and give place to a microbrewery, restaurant and events venue, adopting the name Browers Beato, where visitors will have the opportunity to taste the beers produced at the location, under the brand name Browers, but also other international and national brands that will give its visitors access to diversity, quality and service experience. Browers Beato will also be used as an educational platform for anyone wishing to learn more about beer and brewing, with a production site that visitors will be able to visit in order to understand more about the production process, and a tasting room for more in-depth sessions about beer.
