THE BULK HOUSE started in 2017 as the first social enterprise in China promoting the zero waste life. In 2018, THE BULK HOUSE opened the first zero waste store on China's mainland. The social enterprise encourages people to consume rationally and responsibly, and advocates the unique business philosophy of "buy better, buy less, and use for a long time".They believe that living with the guidance of the 6 R's of zero waste (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Recycle and Rot) will bring people more happiness and freedom to their lives.THE BULK HOUSE now has a new zero waste store in the heart of Beijing's hutongs, go check them out Tuesday to Sunday (10:00am - 7:00pm) at No.70 Beiluoguxiang (just 800 metres from the Drum and Bell Towers). You'll find them on Baidu, Gaode, Dianping and Apple Maps.THE BULK HOUSE 是中国首家致力于倡导零浪费生活的社会企业和国内唯一一家以零浪费无包装 (Zero Waste & Package Free) 为概念的线下体验店，鼓励人们理性负责任地消费，倡导"买好点，买少点，用久点"的独特经营理念。通过零浪费 6R 黄金法则来实现垃圾减量，进而收获简单生活带来的快乐，自由与富足。2017 年 8 月初创始人 Carrie Yu 和 Joe Harvey 做了一个为期 3 个月的零浪费挑战，最终两人仅产生两罐垃圾。一时间引起众多国内外知名媒体的关注，如 BBC, China Daily, CCTV, VICE, Forbes 等报道，其中"一条"拍摄的原创视频，全网播放流量超过3000 万。THE BULK HOUSE 通过组织分享零浪费的主题系列活动和内容来引导人们与自然和平共处，并提供一系列日常实用且独具美感的零浪费好物和减塑工具，旨在帮助人们轻松开启一站式零浪费生活之旅。2020年10月中旬，我们又新开了一家线下体验店2.0 升级版 THE BULK HOUSE 零浪费无包装商店（北锣鼓巷70号）。我们重新回归了线下，回到了你们最熟悉的胡同里，新店位于北京胡里里最文艺最有态度的一条胡同里——北锣鼓巷。目前线下体验店的营业时间是周二至周日（早10:00 至晚19:00，周一店休）。
