The Catalyst Collective provides mentoring for the next generation of Black Women. We believe that mentoring can be a powerful intervention in the lives of young women. We recruit, train, match and support young professional Black women with Black teenagers for year-long, meaningful mentoring relationships.Vision:The vision of The Catalyst Collective is to create a society in which Black womenare well represented in all educational and professional settings, and Black teenagers can access a range of representative role models to inspire them and to help them develop towards achieving their goals.Objectives:The Catalyst operates with three core objectives:1. To connect young Black women with relatable role models to act as mentorsfor a year of high-quality mentoring.2. To support mentees and mentors in achieving SMART goals which will helpthem to progress towards future aspirations.3. To create a rewarding and quality volunteering experience that develops theleadership skills of professional Black women and provides them with accessto a wider network and other opportunities.
