The Central Organization of MICRO Development Villages in Kenya (‘Comic- Dev Kenya') is a Community Partner Alliance of independent community based civil society organizations.Comic-Dev Kenya was founded in 2010 to scale up support to community partner organisations in Kenya that were most affected by and keen to respond to the devastating challenge of extreme poverty, inequality, injustice and climate change through MICRO Development Initiatives. Comic-Dev Kenya Members are proud and privileged to work across a wide range of counties in Kenya and contexts where we provide support to thousands of non-governmental, community-based and faith-based organizations. Our main objective is to assist our partner community-based organizations (CBOs) and other groups such as county assemblies or development planning committee members, to develop MICRO Development initiatives that work and can respond effectively to the challenges of extreme poverty, inequality, injustice and climate change.We strive to support our partners to implement quality community-driven MICRO development initiatives at scale, using a human rights approach. Our work focuses especially on promoting the perfect art of TABLE BANKing though the CO-Micrev Kenya Initiative,Offering Information based Support Education on Effective development practices through the Info-SEED initiative, Funding Community Based Agendas on Sustainable development goals through The SDGs-Com Outreach Initiative or Research based structured commercial agricultural practices through the Resco Agriculture Initiative and finally coordinating organization based solidarity enhancement activities through the Ossa Initiative.
