The world over, football is the peoples game. It is played in all types of environment, weather and in any condition. Whether on the street corner, in the playground, in the local park or in a stadium, football is played by the people, for the people. The Community Football Federation (CFF) was set up to address the growth of grassroots football in the community. The CFF will be largely events lead, working in partnership with the FA, County FA's, local authorities and any other organisation and agencies. The CFF will help to bring grassroots football to a new prestigious peak. The CFF will be hands on, conducting outreach work in the community at grassroots level, introducing the various formats of the game to the wider community. Having close contact with the community, the CFF's initiatives and projects will have a large impact on the increased number of participants, the development and progress within the grassroots game.IThe Community Football Federation (CFF) aims to:Increase the number of people playing football.Increase the number of coaches, officials, administrators and volunteers in football.Increase the number of events available to grassroots football.Establish more tangible opportunities for teams, clubs, players, coaches, administrators and volunteers.Work in partnership with all partners in football. The aim is to develop grassroots community football to a higher level of recognition, making it possible to create it as a secondary football industry. In achieving this, we will create a whole new breed for the football world and, this will be inclusive but not exclusively to: Senior, youth, juniors, females and the disabled from the ethnic minority community. This mission will not only enhance and support the already existing program run by the FA, but will create an industry within an industry and be the forerunner for things to come within the grassroots game.
