The Changemakers is an exclusive Documentary Series that aims at changing the world, one community at a time, when every story of change inspires the next. The Series is coming back with its third season of telling impactful stories that have the power to change lives. Only this time, they are coming in association with a new digital partner -News18 (with promotions & features in New18 as well as First Post). The third season will air in April 2022. The series has covered some powerful stories of community transformation in India and has strived to be a force of change right from the opening season. Till date the series has showcased the impactful and inspiring stories of social change undertaken by over 75 organizations in India, including UNDP, TVS Motors, Genpact, Gram Vikas, Edelgive Foundation, HDFC Bank, Sonalika Tractors, IBM, Muskaan Dreams, United Way, Tata Power, Anaha trust, Dream a Dream Foundation, SNEHA, Pepsico, Magic Bus Foundation, and many others. Their stories/documentaries can be viewed on www.thechangemakers.org.in (Season1 & Season 2)The objective of the series is to highlight the outstanding work these organisations are doing and shed light on their future ambitions. Each episode follows an intriguing pattern that includes interviews and on-the-ground footage of the work being done at the grassroots level. The series began in November 2019 and its second season premiered in October 2020. It focuses on healthcare, education, skill development, disability, environment, gender equality and WASH.
