About the Adoption Support we offer: Assessments Although we are based in the Midlands we can travel throughout the UK for Psychological/Therapeutic Assessments. Approaches We use a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on the child and family's needs, including: • Therapeutic parenting • Attachment therapies • Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP – Dan Hughes) • Theraplay • Family Therapy • Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) • In-depth life story work Presenting problems We work with a wide range of presenting problems, including: • Rage outbursts/aggression • Family conflict • Sexualised/sexually harmful behaviour • Controlling behaviour • Challenging behaviour at home and school • Sleep issues • Food issues • Sibling conflict Additional services In addition to direct work with families we also offer training and consultation to professionals including social workers, teachers etc
