MissionThe mission of THE CHOICE SCHOLARSHIP FUND is to Break Education Barriers which affect Nonpublic School Students in pursuit of an education in Texas. PurposeWe are established to primarily provide Academic Scholarship Subsidies to Texas Students in grade levels K-12 who attend or seek attendance at Nonpublic Primary and Secondary Academies in Texas. Our organization will provide Academic Scholarship Subsidizes for: materials; supplies; math and science tutoring (secondary levels); and tutoring for minorities who present English as a Second Language (ESL).Scholarship Subsidies are provided to Hispanic, Latino and African American students within the underserved critical regions of Texas (DFW, Gulf Coast, Central, Valley, and West) who did not complete a secondary education. These subsidies will minimize associated testing cost for obtaining a General Education Developmental Certificate (students 18-26) or a High School Diploma (up to age 26).By showing a special interest to underserved critical regions of Texas where studies show systemic, racial and socioeconomic disparities, we can efficiently and effectively target groups who may not have access to financial resources. Our organization is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code or corresponding section of any federal tax code.
