The Clever Tiger is an art studio and gallery founded by husband and wife, Kyle and Ashley Smith, with a goal to provide a creative outlet for established artists, aspiring artists, and anyone wanting to explore or appreciate creativity. This dynamic space is located in the historic downtown district of Elgin, Texas. The Clever Tiger supports both artists and art lovers by acting as a working studio and functioning gallery for art classes and exhibitions. Arts Leader Ashley Smith is a painter, ceramic sculpture artist, and PhD in Leadership student. Gallery Curator Kyle Smith is a custom framer and woodworker. The mission of the Clever Tiger is to serve the Elgin, TX community by fostering creativity through interactive events. The vision of the Clever Tiger is to serve, inspire, and lead in the growth and sustainment of the art community.
